Ebay Intake Manifold

Guys they have a sbc intake manifold on ebay called a Typhoon pp-52020. The item number is 200089222670. It is a dual plane, which I need. Do any of you have any experience with this product. I have a T-Bucket with a 327 Chevy with hump back heads that is stock. It is coupled to a stock powerglide. The intake manifold that is on the engine now is a Holley single plane Street Dominator with a Holley 600cfm on top. I just want good low end grunt. The price is good on this manifold, and it is polished, which I want. I don't want a piece of junk, and have no idea if the casting is good.
Thanks, Ron

re: Ebay Intake Manifold

Take a look at their website, http://www.professional-products.com/ and judge for yourself.
I normally shy away from unknown manufacturers, when there are plenty of tried & true manufacturers in the same field, but these people may turn out to be the next great manifold makers.
They're located in Southern California. Maybe someone knows about them.

re: Ebay Intake Manifold

I have their Crosswind intake on my Chevy and have been happy with it. The castings are pretty rough but everyting lined up and their suposed to make the same HP as the Edelbrocks. If I had to do it again I would spend the few extra $ and get an Edelbrock or another American brand.

re: Ebay Intake Manifold

I've installed them for customers before. They're a decent intake manifold. Pretty consistant build quality and quite versatile. Ther're the only manufacturer who has the oversize center holes with offset bushings to allow the same intake to be used on 88+ centerbolt valvecover heads. Tough to beat the bang for your buck value with these intakes. Ordered one for myself for vortec heads so I guess I'll see if I'm happy with it once I get it.
