I was looking at stainless roller rockers on Ebay ,the Skipwhite store, any body know if these are Ok or junk? thanks Cisco

What name brand? You get what you pay for. If it sounds too good to be true, theres no probably to it, it is.

Seems I saw that ebay dude on here before, or somewhere. Have him send you pics of the things, their specs, and where they are made. I'd bet M.I.C. Then, say you buy 'em and run 'em, or clean them in solvent and feel how they 'roll'. I saw a guy had some felt like there was grit in the bearings, but was just how they were, not too smooth. He got rid of them. I'd like to know how long they'd last and how 'noisy' they are when running.

they'r WYSCO rockers, don't they make good pistons?
plain stamped rollers are half what S&d etc sell em for.Not everything on Ebay is junk.Can't blame a guy for looking for a deal. Cisco

The piston company is Wiseco. I have bought a lot of stuff From Skip White on Ebay and had no problem with his parts or dealing with them. I have been to their shop, they have a great shop and really know what they are doing. Not to say that some stuff from China is junk. But I have had not had any problems with what I bought from Skip.

Every part I asked them about was MADE in China. You must have ordered different parts than I.

I too have bought from Skip Whites store on Ebay. I have never had any problems from anything I have gotten from him, if you have any questions, all you have to to is call them and someone (I have never even been put on hold, ever) will help make sure you get the right thing. I am planning on getting a set of heads and roller rockers from him in the next ninety days or so. I'll let ya'll know how they are.

I've always said their are good deals to be had on the net you just have to be careful.

I have ordered several items from him, always been happy with the fit and finish of what I recieved. Phone help is always available, they always seem willing to answer questions and I don't think they have a hold button .
His stuff might be made in china, but some of us have to find the deals when we can. I always buy american when I can, but some things I needed, I might not have yet if I had to wait till I could afford them.

Bought a ministarter from them. Asian made and the enclosed starter bolts was ordinary grade 40 boolts & too soft.

But the starter itself have worked properly so far, so I guess it was'nt a bad deal after all. The price was something like 70$.

Read good things about Skip White over at the thirdgen board too.

I've bought a few things from Skip White store on ebay - always quick to respond to questions and they weren't afraid to say "hey this won't work for your application" when asked - I give them the thumbs up.
