there are more alternatives than you think!! he is right, the swap had to include the wiring and ecu from the newer vehicle. but then you get into switches and all that crap.
I think you would be better rippin the ecm out and doing a little wiring yourself. plug up most of the junk sensors.
since it is fuel injected you could make your life easier by getting an aftermarket f.a.s.t. system or similar.
If your better with older cars (like most of us) I think this would be a fun way to go. I am considering it on a dodge ram
