Edelbrock Conversion
I have a Edelbrock 1407 that is a manual choke carb. The choke housing has a vacuum port. On the carb there is a brass plug where the vacuum port would normally make contact with the body.
I want to convert to an electric choke, but I was wondering if the port behind the brass plug is normally functional, i.e. drilled. I don't want to pull the plug and find the passage isn't there. Anyone? |

We must have someone with Edelbrock expertise.

I've never done it but I found this instruction sheet. I hope it helps.
