Edelbrock Gear Drive Install \ Help!

hey guys i got an edelbrock gear drive from one of my friends and im installing it to a 1967 chev 350 block. with a decent cam, intake, and eelbrock carb. I had it in there before and when i took it out for engine inspection, i never paid attention to which way it was sitting. The Idler gear has one gear bigger than the other and on one side of the bigger gear its got a flat center but on the other side its more of a cone. Does anyone know which side the bigger gear goes on (left or right when your looking at the front of the block) and which way the "cone" on the side of the bigger gear FACES (the block or the timing cover?) Any help appreciated, thanks
