edelbrock intake to gt 40 heads
im goin to buy some 90s model to early 2000's model gt 40 heads form my 70 model 302 and i want to know if i have to use a late model intake or can i use my edelbrock performer 289 intake manifold. i know the heads will go on the block but i just dont know about the intake fitting to the heads. plz help

Head swap
No problem,the intake will fit.What is different is some overhaul and head gasket sets will have 2 sets of intake gaskets,the ones with the smaller water ports are for early 302 and 289's you will want to use the gaskets with the larger water ports for your heads.

No problem with the intake fit.
One thing. If you are runing stock cast iron manifolds they will need fit (aka ground) to clear a spark plug socket. If you are running headers, no prob. Keith
