i am using one on my 283, i have no idea if they are a good manifold or not, i would assume they are better then a stock iron manifold. As with the power range, it might be higher then normal since it is a single plane, but the plenum is very low, like i said i have no idea if it is good or not, sorry

Talking

I had one on a 351W, they are "mileage" manifolds despite the open plenum and work well with stock heads and mild cams. I would guess power range would be from idle to 5000 rpm.

I just bought one of these intakes myself, I have the newer design, it looks alot like a torker II only the runners in the plenum appear smaller, I had read on Edelbrocks site it was made during the gas crisis during the 70`s to be a economy intake, which is pretty much why I got it, I also needed it since it`s one of the few intakes left that I can install a oil fill tube in the front of.
