Edelbrock Versus Pro Dart 1.

Hey guys to make things short I am going to put this question straight forward. Which heads (aluminum) with the exact same specs are better? I have heard pro dart 1 aluminum heads warp but I have also heard they are near the best quality for a SBC. What do you guys think and what would you reccommend for my 383 build up.

Thanks,
Keith

They don't warp, that's nonsense. The Pro 1 and the Iron Eagle are basically the same port design. The Pro 1 works well. The motors we have done with the 170 and 200 E-Tec's have been extremely stout combos. I'd go with the Edelbrock E-Tec as it sits today. The other first choice would be the Iron Eagle Platnium.

I expect Dart will upgrade the Pro 1 line very soon based on what is happening and has happened in the marketplace.

New Pro 1 heads

If I am not mistaken, the new 180 Pro 1's from Dart are their latest and greatest design. I met a guy who works there in my business and he told me that when they come out they would have the latest port technology and would blow the Pro 1 200 cc head away. Call Dart and see what they say. I am getting a pair of them over Vortechs and E-techs because I don't need a new manifold and all the other stuff needed with those heads.
