Question

Hot_Rod, Are you sure that its an Edsel? Ford made the Edsel. AMC made the Pacer. I don't know if a trademark was issued to either Ford or AMC for the Pacer name. If Ford in fact did produce a Pacer it would be 1957 - 60. I am not sure about the year AMC started production of the Pacer but I believe it was 1972.

Al

HRK, I punched up the Edsel Pacer and you are right. It came up as a 1958. I also punched up the AMC Pacer and got a lot of info, but nothing about the years of production. So I guess the names of cars are not protected as I thought they were. Good luck to U

Acually, Ford itself didn't produce the edsel. If you look at the plaques on the edsel, you will notice that it says MEL. Mercury, Edsel, Lincoln. (Yes, I know, Ford, Mercury, Lincoln)
Just a little "from the who-tha-hell-cares-department" useless info.

(btw, I've got a 59 Edsel Ranger sitting out back if you know anyone who needs parts. hehehe)
