Post efi stack injection or ??

i need some help guys, i am putting some bigger heads on my 454 this winter, thanx in the input with cams.. the holley 4di injection i have now cannot handle anything above 500 hp, and i am aiming for 6!

now i would like to stick with fuelinjection, i have grown to hate carbs, and really lov ethe awesome throttle response in an injected motor

what route should i go? i would like to convert an enderle, or hilborn or crower (if i can find one) stack to efi. I can do all the mashining and welding required my self, but will the car be driveable, or does stack injection only work at high rpm??
should i rather convert a single plane manifold and put on some 4bbl throttlebody.. does the plenum do something for tourque or what

im in the dark here, other than the intake sound of a crower stack is the coolest sound ive ever heard

all input appreciated

-Force Fuel Injection-

This site will give you the information you seek. If you decide to not go with the stacks, the first illustration on the first page is BBC multi-port. I would get away from TBI.

Stacks only lengthen the intake track, longer stacks move the torque curve lower in the rpm range. Putting your injectors as close to the intake valve as possible in a straight length of the tract with at least one port diameter of straight length before and after the injector is the ideal location. Another good location for the injectors with Enderle type stacks is the outside of the stack radius near the intake where the stack meets casting, have the injector angled so it shoots straight down the intake port.

Sounds like a neat project, have fun.
