EGR only functions at part-throttle, so full-throttle performance should not be affected. Part-throttle fuel calibration is dependent on EGR, and if the EGR is not working, it may tend to ping a bit during light acceleration or heavy loading. If the engine has a knock sensor, it may retard the timing, which might tend to reduce performance.
