El camino brake conversion

not too familiar with the interchange of this age of vehicle. was wondering if i can put the front suspension from a 74 vette and put it on my 76 el camino. my reasoning for this is the quad piston brake calipers. i now i would have to change the control arms to accommodate the ball joints and spindles. any thoughts?

You are better off leaving the brakes you have on there alone. The Vette brakes are more trouble. The 74 Vette brakes are the same brakes as they used in 65. There is nothing wrong with the single piston calipers. There are plenty of the 4 piston Vette brakes that have to have sleaves put in them.

ok. thanks. im starting to hear more and more bad about the quad calipers. guess i will stick with the stock single. i did just rebuild the calipers and put all new brakes and hardware in. just thought it would be a better system.
