El Camino Dash swap

I was thinking of putting a different dash in my el camino, and i have one out of a 1980 camaro that is in better shape than my el camino dash and was wondering if anyone knew how hard it would be (i already know i would have to make a panel to go from the windshield to the camaro dash to fit it in the el camino) but what problems might i run into other than locations of wiring and switches? physically they are the same width across

I have it figured out now. The Camaro dashboard pad fit in front of the el camino dash with all of the gauges removed. When we lined up the base of the dash with the radio/ac control housing on the el camino dash the gauges were about perpendicular with the ground. we braced the two dashboards together and now we're going to mold around the whole thing in fiberglass and paint it black.

it leaves the larger glove box of the el camino and eliminates 2 a/c vents but brings the gauges out closer to the steering wheel more like a firebird or camaro and makes the interior of the car feel smaller and sportier.

I will post pictures when i'm done.
