El caminos interiors SUCK!
I have a friend that is very interested in 78-87 Caminos, he's wondering how involved it is to put a third gen camaro/firebird dash and consol into them. Hes seen it done so it is possabile. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

hmm.. I lik em.... by the way its basically the same dash & doors, consoles & seats as same year Monte carlo & Malibus

I have had a few and loved everyone of them. Mine where mostly the 60's. Brother and I did a 72 and he still has it. Dash changes aren't hard, they just require a lot of patience to align them in to the new home. Most junk yards will let you do the work of removing the donor, so that helps to get an idea of the process. Give your self a month to do it right. No rush. You may decide to change gauges, add an amp bracket for the sound system, and lots of other ideas. Only special tool might be a small die grinder with slitting wheel. Sears $65.00

Me and my friend Mark both have the same opinions on Elkys, I love all the interiors, exept from 74-87. Thanks for the help Thom.
