Elec Speedo not working, wiring help needed.

Have a Hanline 3n1 that I purchased a couple of years ago from Haneline before their ownership change.
Got all gauges working but cannot get any reading from the speedometer.
Gauges has power as lights, gas and voltage meter work as well as 4.2 miles show on lcd odometer.
Has HL-147v3 8000 pulse signal gererator attached to TH350.
3 wires from Generator are red white and black.
The instructions say to attached wires to gauge as follows:
white to post marked 'sig"
Black to post marked "Gnd"
Red to post marked "b+"
PROBLEM IS, the gauges to not have posts but a Packcon harness for power r/b and packcon connector for the rest such as fuel, igniton voltage, light, constant 12 for odometer in addition to pulse generator inputs as follows:
Pin 1 Pulse gen 3-wire positive (red w/white stripe wire)
Pin 4 Pulse gen Negative ground (black w/yellow stripe wire)
Pin 6 Pulse gen - Input signal (yellow wire)

Any suggestions as to hookup?
Any way to test if Pulse generator is good?
Any info on what to use as a replacement pulse generator if I cannot get one?

Right now I have as follows:
Red fm PG to pin 1
White fm PG to pin 6
Black fm PG to pin 4
Black and white twisted fm PG to speedo head.

Sounds like it is wired correctly. The instrument cluster should have a memory circuit wire ,make sure it is powered up. The speedo and odo wont register without it

This is the testing procedure for VDO pulse generator. aka Hall Effect Sender.
I'm sure this is similiar to the Haneline.

Hook up all the wiring per instructions. Sender wired but not installed to trans.

Power up 12 v to guage and check with a voltmeter.

Now check voltage between pin #2 (red wire from sender) and pin #3 (ground). this may not be the full 12 volts but thats OK as long as there is voltage.

Now connect the voltmeter to pin #8 (pulse wire from sender) and pin #3 (ground). Rotate the shaft of the sender. If it reads a pulsing voltage like 0-4, 0-4, 0-4 as it is rotated the sender is working. If the voltage does not change the sender is defective.

An analog voltmeter works best.

New senders are available on the internet.
