electric fuel pump

What p.s.i. and g.p.h. electric fuel pump do I need for a 389 Pontiac with Tri-power? I'm thinking 7 p.s.i. and 97 g.p.h. max. with no pressure regulator. Anyone agree....disagree?

7 psi may overpower the needle and seat, allowing fuel to push past them and flood the carb/motor. I don't like to use over 5 psi. There's just no reason to. Run 1/2" lines so you keep the volume up and the pressure low. This pump would be plenty and then some in my opinion....
