Electric fuel pump

I've got a '85 T-Bird with a 302 fuel injected throttle body (I think that's what it is ) anyway the battery went dead, now I can't get any power to the fuel pump. I pulled the tank off an the pump out an hooked it to a battery an it works, I thouht it could be the fuel inertia switch but it wasn't tripped, so I hooked 12 volts to the pump , it pumped like it should an got fuel to the carb. but the injectors won't spray any fuel when I try to turn it over. Can anyone give any suggestions on this problem?

relay

find the fuel pump relay and see if it has power coming from the ign. switch if so then see what happens if you swap it with a similiar realy like the horn relay.
