electric fuel pump squiggy

hi everyone fantastic site... does anyone no where to put the eleletric fuel pump on a 1950 f-1 ford truck i no it should go on the frame rails but i have the exust abot 3 inches away from the pump or could i mount it in the box where the tank is than run my lines down the the floor and go from there ok thank you take care ...

Hi Squiggy, cool handle btw.
Hee Hee.
The pump should be mounted back very near the tank, and down low , low as possible , as low but no lower than the level of the bottom of the tank.Keep it away from the exhaust.
Are you running a carb? or EFI?

thank you for the reply yes its a carb 350 motor i have duel muffers right there by me puttin it in the box the tank its self is about 12 inches hi i thought maybe i could mount it down at the floor on the inside ok ty take care RICK M...
