I just got my '97 Silverado motor in the Chevelle and I'm ready to bolt on carb and accessories and go!!! Finally. Thanks for all the help up to this point.
Now, I'm going to have to run an electric pump since my block does not have a mechanical provision. I was thinking of using Carter's #P4070, which is a "street" pump rated at 72 gph with 5 psi, using 1/4" npt fittings. I would think this would work well with the 600 cfm edelbrock performer I'm using on this mild 350. A few questions, then:
1) Will this pump work well?
2) Do I need to use a regulator?
3) Can I just wire it in to a "keyed" slot on my fuse block?
4) Where is the best place to mount it and a good way to plumb the lines to the carb?
Thanks everyone! Almost there. . . .
