electric window switch

my daughter has a 93' pontiac sunbird that need a new switch for the drivers window.the problem is that GM and the parts stores don;t sell them anymore.does anybody know of some place that sells n.o.s. parts of that sort?only other option is to check each boneyard as i come to them.

Doc here,

Try Auto zombie , Kragen or parts America (even a Mom and Pop may have them) On The "HELP" tree.. they have replacement switches for GM, but:

Be prepared for sticker shock, they run between $29 and $79 bucks..

If you know the part number you can go online to GM Parts Direct and see if they still have it in stock. Sometimes the dealer will quit carrying it but it is still availiable.

thanks for your replies guys but i wouldn't be talking to you guys if i hadn't been to all those place's and checked with them first.if it had been a 91' i would have been ok.cavalier used the same switch.as it is though i have to either go to the junk yard and locate a convertable or 4 door 93 sunbird unless i can come up with the right search words and locate some n.o.s. parts.i'm hoping some of you guys happen to know the name of somebuisness that has (new old stock),or i may be screwed.

If you can't find an exact replacement you can use an aftermarket switch from www.action-electronics.com Cat # GC-35-3560.

It's a DPDT (double pole, double throw, monentary) designed for the purpose of reversing 12 volt DC motors.
