Electrical motor and parts cleaner
I just recently washed a bunch of parts in my parts washer where I use mineral oil. One of the things I washed was my starter. Now I'm wondering if the mineral oil can damage the starter. Does anyone know if mineral oil can damage the electrical components of the starte?

No, blow it off with some air, it will be fine. Mineral solvent is pretty forgiving. I have never ran into a problem in 28 years, But then there is that old saying Ive been doing it wrong for 28 years. No , don't worry be happy.
