Add to all 6 cells. Each fill hole goes down about 1" into the battery. Fill just to the bottom of the fill tube, Do Not fill any higher! If you do the battery will push the excess out the vents in the caps and make a mess. Iv'e also heard that you can blow a battery up by overfilling it but I don't believe that is the case. I know that if the vents in the caps become plugged the battery will blow. I had a new Die Hard blow that way.

top off battery cells!

Only the low cells need topped off. and don't over fill. Did you have the battery checked to see if its good? Again, man be sure to : Do Not Over Fill The Cells!

Just add water, preferably distilled, adding acid will do no good, if properly charged, the battery will have the proper specific gravity. Electrolyte should only be added to a wet type battery when new!
