Electronic power steering

I did a search and didn't seem to turn much up. I'm helping a friend out that owns a speedshop on a little project that a customer of his brought to him. The vehicle in question is a 1952 Austin Sheerline. The customer wishes to use the vehicle as a limo for wedding parties ect ect so driveability is a must. We have currently tightly and I mean tightly nestled between the frame rails a LS1 out of a 2002 TransAm with a 4L60E transmission (why he wanted this motor for this application I have no idea). The issue we are running into is that the gentleman wants the vehicle to have both AC and power steering being his wife may also drive the vehicle. The AC is gonna be potentially tough but I'll cover that in another thread but if we are able to install AC I have no idea where we are going to put the power steering pump at. Does anybody have any sources or links to places that sell electronic power steering kits. The vehicle will be converted to rack and pinion steering. I was looking into an electric pump off a Toyota MR-2 but you can't easily have the unit dumb down the steering pressure to give better road feel high speeds. If you guys know of a true aftermarket kit to fill the bill I'd appreciate it. Thanks a million. PS we are using the LS1 PCM with the swap.

I know. I about fell out of my chair when I saw those prices. I wonder how much of that is to pay for liability insurance.

I think several companies in UK sells kits based on the electric power steering column from a Vauxhall Corsa, like this?
