Does anyone have a link to a site that gives the schematics etc for building your own sequential taillights, I had one on file then lost all my data when I switched to XP Pro.
Those are excellent articles, I used one of them to redesign the taillights on the 72 cougar so that I could get the lights to work, unfortunately both our cougars have had the sequential motors removed by previous owners, so I do not even have a box to repair. I did find an excellent site with mechanical sequential taillights and all the info on how to make your own. Thankfully I posted it on the cougar forum and managed to find the link again.
My son is doing electrics at college and his lecturer has offered to make up the sequentials as a class project if I can provide him with the electronic circuit, the keyword, being electronic, and I have searched everywhere for them and have come up with nothing. If I were more computer literate I could proberly find the link in my old harddrive but I'm not, so it will remain in the dark recesses of some kind of ram memory
I have a electrical book for the cougar at home I will check tonight and seed if it has a diagram in it. I have a 68 XR7 which used the mechanical relays.
I finally had a chance to look in my book last night and the diagram of the sequencer is not very clear, it is included as a part of the entire diagram of the entire taillight circuit. wish I could have been more help.
