I am looking at a 4L80E in my 1964 GMC 3/4 ton pickup. I am using a factory dana 60 rear end rebuilt with a new posilock and 4.56 gears. I am going with a 4L80 E tranny which is in my shop. Who makes the best TCU out there. I know of 2 for sure one from TCI and the other from Compushift. I am looking for a unit that I can program the engine and tranny to shift at certain rpms rather than road speed. Also would like to be able to store several programs on a computer at once for different uses. main uses of the truck are wekend street driving and highway driving on long road trips. how many controllers are out there and which is the best?
