Electronic Windows

Have a 1974 ford gran torino, had an idea to keep the stock window cranks but make the windows electronic and make it so the windo cranks actually make it go up and down, anyone have any ideas on how to complete this task?

I have seen these universal power window kits on e bay quite often. They go for under $100 usually. They are made by the Spal co.

Someone makes a switch that looks like a window crank. Cant remember who makes this but I know I have seen it in Streetscene magazine.

Some understood what i meant others i dont think did, i dont want it to be like push button up and down controlls , i want the window crank itself, push the crank up and the window goes up, push it down the window goes down. not buttons.

HEY WT: There is a product on the market and they are almost $ 100.00 apiece. How they work is with a mercury tilt switch like the one in your thermostat on the wall. You could also do the same thing with a fixed lever on the handle and a micro switch, one for up and one for down.....Act clever and be creative DAVE
