Emergency Brake Help.

1948 Chevrolet Fleetline Aerosedan.
I need to locate emergency brake cable boots. They are 4 or 5 inches long and about 1/8" opening on one end and about 1/2" on the other. They fit on the cable and onto the protector cover just before the back axle. I also need rear shock absorber kits. The shocks are OEM lever type.

Thanks Al

The type rear end you are using might be helpful information to someone helping with your search ... :)

I am using the original '48 cable. The rear end is out of a '75 camaro. I have only tried Auto Zone for the boots so far, I will check with NAPA and see if they have them or can get them.

Al
