does anybody out there know if an aftermarket cast alum. oil pan will clear the stroke on a 350 chevy running an Eagle 383 stroker kit? Im running a off shore chrome pan now and cant get it to seal at the timing chain cover. Have the pan off 3 times. I think the alum. pan would be better cause it twist. Thanks.

It's not aluminum but this is the pan I am running now an I have had no sealing issues. It fits strokes up to 4.125 in. with steel connecting rods. Any stock style pan will probably need to be clearanced to work... |

chrome oil pan
hi,i had the same problem. sand the lip of the pan, where the gasket fits ,with 320 . ion mine the chrome was too slick to hold the gasket and the gasket would walk out. this MIGHT be your problem. then use hi temp sealer on the gasket.
