i just met a retired ford mech and racer. he says a 429/460 thermostat housing will fit! he also thinks there may be one from the 351m. i hope he`s correct. he also said if you wind the 351c over 6000 rpm regularly,install the oil restricters in the valley,run a baffled oil pan and crank scraper.this will save the rod & main bearings. keep us posted if you find what works and what doesnt as i`m looking to rebuild my "c" in the next year or so. tight budgets are no fun!!!
