engine 1970 455 olds
Purchased a 1956 oldsmobile.Also a 1970 455.Would like to know how to mount engine.(front versus side) Also is the auto. transmission the same
as pontiac,buick or chevy?

Mounts on the 455 are completely different. You'll need to fabricate new brackets to fit the frame. Buick, Olds, Pontiac, and Caddy transmissions have the same bolt pattern from about 1964 up, Chevy is different.
