Which engine is it?

I have been trying to id my engine The numbers on the rear passenger side are 10243380 I have been to two differant things.

The numbers on the front passenger block are VFO16268

1) 95-00 350 ZZ4

2) Targetmaster 350

The heads are vortec swirl 14102193

I read that the Targetmaster did not come with vortec heads.

Can anyone help me out here? I am trying to get general . Engine Timing and procedure. firing order. I may ad intake manifold (305 now) headers, cam.

Heads are not Vortec. They are swirl port tbi type

OK thanks. I thought the 4 bolt center valve covers were vortec.

Nope, just center bolt valve cover type, which started in 1986. True Vortec heads have 4 vertical intake manifold bolts per side, not the six angled bolts that were standard for 40 years on the SBC. True Vortec heads are 1996-2000 or so.

Just having centerbolt valvecovers does not mean true Vortec.
