I have a 1963 Nova and i want to rebuild it all orignal. But i have seen some cool orignal cars that have the inside of the engine comparment powder coated? Would haveing powder coated decrease the scoring at like car shows. Alos would you really want to do that to a car you want to keep orignal?
THERE IS NO REASON TO THINK THAT POWEDERCOATING THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT WOULD DEVALUE ANY SCORE, AFTER ALL POWEDERCOATING IS NOTHING MORE THAN PAIN THAT HAS BEEN CHARGED WITH ELECTRICITY AND THEN HEATED, ACTUALLY IT COULD BE THE SAME COLOR AS THE REST OF THE CAR AND NO ONE WOULD EVER KNOW BUT YOU. HOWEVER THE POWDER COATING HAS TO BE DONE IN AN OVER. DO YOU THINK YOU WANT YOUR CAR GOING IN AN OVEN?
