Post Engine Block Identification

Hi I just recently Joined and I first of all just want to say that this site is really cool and you guys got some great info on here.
Now I have a question. I have a 351W ford motor that I am trying to get a year off of. The Local Ford dealer couldn't or wouldnt help me, but I figured one of you may be able to. The Block Casting number is D9AE-6015-ED then a little ways away from that number there is a 9 and under that there is 9A2. If anyone can help with this it would be greatly appreciated.
I also have one more question. I know there are 2 types of non roller the 69 and then it changed in like 74. What im wondering is waht are th pros and cons of these 2 assemblies. If anyone can help out a new member your know how would be greatly appreciated.

Tom

I don't think any 351W are roller. That aside the basic casting # says it was initiated in '79 ( when that casting was first used) the other #'s appear to be the production date, in this case January 2, 1979.
