i have a small block chevy bored 40 over and it need a crank kit .a have the engine code from right side front behind the alternator that #is VO2250KB i need to know the year. and what cubic inch after bored

your machine shop will be able to tell u how many cubes you're adding with a .040 bore

Those #s from the front of the block wont help you(i dont think). Look at the ones stamped on the pad that's near the distributor

That suffix code doesn't show up anywhere I looked. Give us the number off the back of the block, right behind where the rear of the intake manifold ends, on a shelf there, just before the rear face of the block on the driver's side.
