i have an engine in my garage for the last 3 yrs, and i am thinking that this may be a good time to learn how to build an engine. being the novice that i am about engines , how doable is such a project, also are there any books with step by step instruction and possibly illustrations
thanks p.s i am talking about a bb chevy
1. "How to rebuild your small-block chevy" by david vizard
2. "Power Secrets" by Smokey Yunick
3. "Engine Blueprinting" by Rick Voegelin
probably can get all three on amazon for less than $50 total.
great resources. oh yeah, and the book on small blocks will give you the basic principles that you can apply to a big block rebuild.
