Guys, unless I miss my guess, Eddy's asking about two Chevy small blocks. (HC and TPA are Chevy suffix codes.)

The best site for suffix codes (chevymania) is down again. But I recall TPA is a 350 sbc truck engine suffix (could be a 4-bolt main)- although there can be other engines that use the same suffix code- like all the different engines that use HC. That's why you need the date code and block casting numbers to tie it all together to one application. More info on ID'ing your engine is here.
