Engine died after idling.

I have a new 350 with all new parts. Last night i drove it about ten miles then after idling for about ten minutes it died. I couldnt tell what i didnt have spark or fuel because it was dark as hell. After messing with it i found it had a nice blue spark and I had fuel. I cranked it over and it fired right back up. Drove back home with no problem and idled fine in the driveway. I hate stupid **** like that?
Not to sure what it was?

Well could be anything with the ignition? I would look for loose conections in the harness and at the dist. Is this the original engine? Did you have to do any rewireing? I have a similer gremlin that I have been chaseing and I'm begining to believe that it may be the ignition switch? Just go over all of the harness and be sure that all is tight...
Good Luck!

New 350 gm goodwrench 290 hp. New jegs distributer, edelbrock 650 carb, stock style manual fuel pump. I think I will switch out ignition components with a newer gm hei that I have laying around.
