tell me what you guys think. 350 with 305 heads stock cam and crappy exhaust. the only carb i have to put on it is a 750 vac. secondary (i know thats to big but its all i got) i rebuilt the carb myself i put 72 jets in it and lowered the float level down a hair below the site hole and the motor seems to run pretty well. i set the mixture screws with a vacuum gauge and i think there pretty accurate. the timing is set at 8 degrees btdc and the idle is set at 800 rpm. the problem im having is if i put it in gear and blip the throttle with my foot on the brake the the tires chirp/spin but then upon deceleration the motor stubbles real bad and dies. any ideas? idle to low? floats? squirters?

Turn your timing up a little and turn your A/F mixture screws a turn and a half out, forget the vaccum gauge just set your idle in park at 700 and turn yours screws in till you hear a change in your motor then turn them back out a 1/4 turn. Both A/F mixture screws should be set the same then adjust your idle to 800. Go out and blow the tires off!!!
