351 is not an FE, no matter cleveland or Windsor, Or Modefied. heres a site to help you out on ID's for that http://www.fordclassics.com/enginespecs.html

That link has some good information. The 351W is classed in with the small block ford (sbf) family shown as the 90 degree family shown on the link. I did notice they forget (or maybe chose to forget) the laughable 255 built in the early 80's for a couple years.

For what you are doing, any 289/302/351 mount will work. FE mounts are different. So are 351/400 "M" motors. (learned that one the hard way) Speedway motors has a crossmember for that for about 55.00. here's a link:

Thank You You saved me about sixty dollars with that link and info. I had found one in Dennis carpenter for $75 and the mounts were like $83. I appreciate saving money and due to lack of fabrication skills find that this route is easier. Once again thank all of you for the info.
