Those are the "swirl port" heads used on Throttle Body Injected 305's and 350's. They are "okay" for a daily driver or cruiser but are not a great high perfromance head especially above about 4,000 RPM. Good heads for a heavy car or truck, they should deliver good throttle response and fuel economy if used with a near stock cam and 4 barrel intake. They have 64cc combustion chambers so they need a dished piston in a 350 to keep compression down. The engines they came on had electronic fuel injection and computerized timing with knock sensors so they could get by with higher compression.
