Pros: Engine capable of higher rpm. Cons: Less HP/TQ than the 350, Higher cost of valvetrain components for high rpm to equal the cheaper built 350's HP/TQ. |

"my question is its is probably a dumb one but can you put 327 crank & rods in a 350 motor?"
Only maybe. the early 327 had smaller 283 size bearings, 1968 and later 327 has larger 350 size bearings. Check first. |

I think the 62-67 327 Rods/Crank use the small bearing Journal = 2.00" compared to the 68up 2.100" Journal same a 350. 62-67 327 Crank Mains = 2.300" 68up Crank Mains = 2.450" same as 350 |
