engine hoist?

I need an engine hoist for around $100.00, does anyone know where in VA to get one? I have seen them on eBay for $100.00, but they rip you off on the shipping, $100.00 or more for shipping! It only cost about half of that to ship my olds 403 from TX!

So.. any clues???

Try the flea markets, or swap meets. I think Advance Auto has them too. I can't remember how much. Either $150 or maybe closer to $200.

Try Harbor Freight. They have them for about that price I think. I don't know if you have a store near you but I know we have a store here in Roanoke.

No matter what you do, get a 4 wheel hoist, not a 3 wheel tricycle. The 3 wheelers have a tendancy to tip when you hit a bump or crack. I learned that the hard way.

Our local Westlakes has a chain hoist on sale for $40. You might want to see if you area has the same deal.
