Engine horsepower

how much hp will my 273 put out with hi flow exhaust and a k&n air filter?

it also has a holly 4 bbl on it

Around 215 @ the flywheel with headers. around 155 at the rear wheels.

Nobody can give you a serious answer without knowing more info. Compression, cam, heads, etc...

Or, is it stock?

A dead stock 1967 Barracuda had an optional 273 rated at 235 horsepower, so you can work from there? That's with the original cast iron intake, the stock exhaust manifolds, stock cam, etc.

i want to restor it to stock i love stock muscle cars. i dont like it when people put all this after market stuff on it but some people like that but thats just me.

yah horse power is always a plus id be willing to get a non stock engine i can see sense in that but on the inside i would like it to stock.

all smallblcok motors look the same, use a 360, maybe even try to get one that came with a roller cam (1988 and up). If you want the stock look, you can put all the aftermarket stuff on it and hide it. Like paint the intake the factory color, use some old-school valve covers etc.

yah small blocks are sweet even though its only a 273 it sounds like its alot bigger
