man im so freakin out of my mind right now one thing after another!!!! im in the process of rebuilding a 351 cleveland.. well it was a 2 barrel carb and manifold on it when i took it apart. its a 2 bolt set up and the prob is that the casting number is d2ae-ca.. i was told that it was a 4 v not a 2v but was also told that the casting number might be wrong but i checked it twice...... i got these parts for a 2v and now am some what stuck with them.. what should i do and if so is the number right and i need to look for 4v stuff?

cool so even though the casting number says its a 4v cobra jet is it still a 4v block even though its got 2v heads and a manifold on it... so the things i got will still work? nice thanks man....

The casting # you gave does not mean 4V, there is no casting # specific to 4V, that is why I said look at the corner of the head.
Likely what you have based off that casting # is a 72-73 2V engine. |
