Engine idels fine in P and N shakes bad in D or R

My 1970 el camino, with stock 350 and 350 trans recently started acting up... It starts good and sounds good, though i could turn the idle down abit.. but when i put her into Drive or Reverse she starts to shake violently and seems to want to stall out..and does sometimes. if i start do drive it goes away until a stop light stops me then the shaking comes right back.
I thought it was a spark problem so i switched to HEI and new wires..and I checked for vacuum leak on all hoses in the engine compartment with carb cleaner to try to hear an inccrease in RPM but nothing, i also sparyed the base of the carb and the meeting spots of the intake to the heads..

any other vaccum spots i missed? any one have any clues as to what is happening?

Check for a vacuum leak at the transmission modulator valve.

Put a vacuum gauge on it and see what it reads. Did you look at the plugs and double check the firing order.

The brake booster could be leaking vacuum as well

Is the high idle something that started on its own? Because this is OFTEN an indication of a vacuum leak.

You can disconnect each vacuum line, one at a time and plug it to see if there's one that's causing the leak.

Readjust the idle mixture screws after fixing the vacuum leak. If you find no leak, use a can of spray carb cleaner. Follow the can directions paying attention to the air bleeds located at the top of the carb, towards the center of the air horn.

Check the timing as well.
