engine idleing funny

freshly rebuilt 350 idles down when idling. it will set and idle at higher rpms but at lower rpms it justidles down till it dies. and misses a little bit but not like a plug or misfire. i'm thinking a vacuum leak but not for sure.

What kind of condition is your carb in? New? Used? Manufactured by -----?
And what kind of rebuild? Stock cam? Street Performance?

Its A Older Elderbrock 1406. The Build Is A Little Radical Everything Was Balanced On The Bottom End. It Has A 500 Lift Cam And 12 To 1 Compression. I Think Mostly Vacuum But Not For Sure. Thanks.

In that case I'd have to agree that it's probably a vacuum tube causing your trouble.
