Question Which Engine To Install?
I have a 38 Dodge "Humpback" Panel Truck that is completely stripped. I'm trying to decide which engine to go for, an L6, V6, or small V8 (Mopar of course). Also what automatic tranny will go with the engine (with your help) I choose. I don't want to Hot Rod this truck, just modernixe it with some reasonable horsepower for todays traffic. I'll be using it as a "driver". So using a 400 hp engine isn't what I'm looking for. I need your opinions to help me make that choice. What are the strong and weak points for each. Thanks for your help.
