I just got a call from the machine shop that's doing the work on my motor. He FINALLY got back from vacation and though I said the block was good earlier, I was really hoping and praying that it was. Now I know for sure! YAY. However, the bearings were spun on pistons 1 and 3 so badly that he can't turn the crank to fix it. So, now I have a dilemma.

Do I...stick with the stock size crank, or go ahead and get one with a longer stroke? Then do I buy a cast or forged? And if I do that, do I go ahead and have him punch it out .30 over?

What benefits will a 383 give me over a 350 or even 377 (Stroked but not bored). Thanks.
