...Which is why I questioned you guys. I'm thinking I'll just use the factory lift brackets and the 5/16" chain I've always used. However, the next time I run across the need to pull a sbc with a 2 barrel (that is junk to start with...), I'll try it with a plate just to see if it'll handle it.
