Engine painting

Can anyone give me some advice on painting an engine. Have a 68 GTO with a stock 400. Want to paint it the original Pontiac blue color. Right now, the only thing on the engine is the heads. What is the best way to proceed and do I use light single coat or multiple coats, etc.?

engine paint

Get it really really clean no grease, oil or dirt use a high temp paint (spray bomb type is fine VHT is a good brand ) and paint until its covered and the color is uniform... thick paint looks good but it will blister and or peel off ...
